Time: 10 mins
Serves: 2
INGREDIENTS
- 400g beef steak (cut of choice), thinly sliced
- 4 thick slices sourdough bread
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soft cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon rapeseed/veg oil
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon Coffee Chilli Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Black Coffee Ghost Rub
- Handful of salad leaves
METHOD
Pour the oil into a frying pan and add the onions, salt and Coffee Chilli Sauce. Fry on a medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes until soft and translucent.
Take the onions out of the pan and set aside.
Massage the salt and Black Coffee Ghost Rub into the steak.
Whack the heat up on the pan you’ve just cooked the onions in and flash fry the steak on a high heat for 30 seconds on each side.
Remove the steak and rest for a minute or two.
Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on two slices of the bread.
Spread the other two slices with a teaspoon each of Dijon mustard.
Then evenly top each slice with the steak, onions and salad leaves and top each with the mustard sliced bread
